helpful advice and plenty of encouragement.
- Cape Adventure offers a wide variety of sea
kayaks to try out, all in excellent condition - NDK Romany, Poseidon,
Greenlander Pro; P&H Orion; Riot Tourlite; Rainbow Lasers, Perception Carolina;
Prijon Doubles; Valley Nordkapp (the actual kayak used by Rebecca Ridgway
on her successful expedition around Cape Horn).
- Good quality kayaking equipment provided - cagoules,
buoyancy aids, paddles, helmets spray decks and wetsuits.
- Excellent camping equipment - spacious Vaude Mk II
tents, a range of camp equipment and a detailed explanation as to the
reasons for using / choosing it.
- Land support vehicle with kayak trailer offers flexible
options and a safety back up system.
- Delicious home cooked food and plenty of it.
- The accommodation is comfortable and homely, offering
a variety of bedrooms with loch side and land views. A spacious sitting
area with sofas and arm chairs around a wood burning stove creates a
relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good showers with plenty of hot water.

- Transport to / from Inverness for individuals / groups
or car sharing with other course member can be arranged.
