TRAVEL INFORMATION - GETTING TO CAPE ADVENTURE

If travelling from the south or abroad, we recommend individuals fly with Easyjet from London to Inverness. Families often drive, breaking the journey en route.

Outward - Saturday am flight 151 Departs Luton 09:30 arrives Inverness 11:05, taxi to Rhiconich (2 hrs) or Friday pm flight 763 Departs Gatwick 14:10 arrives Inverness 15:50, overnight, Saturday am catch 10:39 Train to Lairg arrives 12:22, which is met by Rapsons Bus. Take the bus going to Durness as far as Rhiconich Hotel (45 miles) where we will meet you at 15:00.

Return – Friday pm flight 764 Departs Inverness 16:15 arrives Gatwick 17:55
Rapsons bus from Rhiconich 09:00 arr Lairg 10:40, bus Lairg 10:55 arr Inverness 13:05. It is often possible to get a lift from someone who came by car.
NB The train and bus link up with each other just once a day.

By Road from Inverness to Cape Adventure (approx 2 hours)
Follow A9 north for 26 miles, turn left onto B9176 Struie Hill 14 miles, turn left onto A836 to Bonar Bridge 4 miles, turn left onto A836 to Lairg 11 miles, continue north towards Kinlochbervie, turn left onto A838 to Laxford Bridge 37 miles, turn right onto A838 and continue for 4 miles to Rhiconich Hotel. We will meet you there at 3:00pm. Alternatively, drive via Ullapool, where there are restaurants, shops, Highland Stoneware. Approx 30 minutes longer, but even more beautiful!
